Senior Pastor Steve Clark came to Salt Lake City from the Chicago area with his wife, Heidi, and their three daughters in the fall of 2005. EFC of SLC is their first full-time pastorate. His previous ministry service includes two years in various capacities at Evanston Bible Fellowship (Evanston, IL) and eight years on staff with Campus Crusade for Christ (Ann Arbor, MI; Evanston, IL; and overseas). Steve graduated from the University of Illinois and later earned his Master of Divinity at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. He is ordained by the Evangelical Free Church of America. In his free time, he may be found learning patience and humility on the golf course, enjoying God’s creation in the mountains or painting military miniatures.

I moved to Salt Lake City from Germany with my husband, Benno and our son, Alexander, in August 1990, and we immediately became active at EFC of SLC. Since then I have taught French and German at ICS, served in the choir and as a Bible study leader in Women's Ministries. Currently, I serve in the church office, which I consider far more a place of ministry than a workplace. My training includes degrees in French and International Management, which I use very little, but which God has used to prepare me for his purposes. I love to read and engage in witty repartee. Please come into the office and spar with me!
