Do you long for a deeper connection with God in Christ? Do you desire spiritual refreshing, even revival? We invite all women to come and drink deeply from God's Word each Tuesday from 7:00-8:30 pm, September 14 through December 14, at the home of Kim Lotz (6695 Romans Court, Midvale). Seeking Him: Experiencing the Joy of Personal Revival is a 13-week study written by Nancy Leigh DeMoss and Tim Grissom. When: Sunday, August 29, 3 pm - 7 pm Where: Sugarhouse Park, Big Field Pavilion (that's the road by the pond, not on the big loop) Who: Christian 20s and 30s in the Greater Salt Lake City area. *BBQ starts at 3 pm and we'll pray together at 4 so gather 'round the pavilion about that time. *It will be Potluck style with grills available, so bring something to grill and also one of the following: soft drinks, side dish, or dessert. *Bring your game face – We'll have volleyball, frisbee, football, etc.

We look forward to seeing God work mightily through our women's retreat as we explore living in gospel relationship with one another. If you would like to join us to pray for the retreat, we will be meeting in the library each Sunday morning from 10:00-10:25 beginning this Sunday. The location will change when first hour classes resume on September 12 so please watch for that information.

Mark it down! September 12 and 19 will be promotion Sunday (s) to move your child up to their appropriate class. First hour classes resume September 12, providing fun, fantastic Sunday School for children in nursery - 5th grade. Second hour classes will provide Children's Church for those in nursery - 2nd grade. Children going into 3rd grade will remain in the worship service with their families. We're looking forward fall classes!

Everyone, adults and children, is invited to go on a hike Saturday, September 4, meeting at 10:30 am in the church parking lot. This will be a progressive hike, so you can hike as far as you want to, and then turn around when you would like to. We'll go up to the end of Big Cottonwood Canyon and hike first to Lake Mary; this is only 1 mile each way about an 850 foot elevation gain -- short and sweet. Lake Mary is beautiful and the wildflowers are abundant.

All women are invited to our Tuesday morning (9:10-11:15) Bible Study! This year we will be studying the Gospel of Luke, with a short DVD study interspersed throughout the year. Koinonia includes individual study, fellowship, worship, teaching, small group discussion and prayer. Please plan on joining us for this wonderful time of learning God's Word with other women. Childcare is provided for children, birth - 5 years, for a nominal fee. Look for registration materials at the end of August. The cost for both books and incidentals is $25 for the year (may be paid in installments).
