Small Groups

Small groups generally consist of about ten members meeting in the leader’s home. Meetings occur about two to four times per month. In addition to Bible study, meetings include time for fellowship, encouragement and prayer. Current small groups:

The Young Adult group led by Josh/Tiffany Smith is aimed at folks in their late teens to 30’s. Their study in Romans aims to deepen their understanding of God, His attributes, will, and sovereignty. One of their four meetings per month is a fellowship night with a meal and games or other activity. Plans include adding a service outreach element to their group’s focus.

Nate/Christina Wanner report that their group provides time for fellowship, encouragement, Bible study and prayer – all based on leading members in a stronger walk with the Lord and a greater sense of community in EFC. The group meets twice per month with attendees generally being in their 20’s to 40’s. Their current study is in Proverbs.

Greg/Yancey Chapman lead an adult group meeting Sunday afternoons. Before breaking for the summer, they completed a study of Daniel and began the Truth Project series.

Ray/Kim Tabladillo have an interesting Sunday evening adult group based on study and discussion of “How to Develop a Powerful Prayer Life” and discussion of principles gleaned from the past week’s sermon.
