Children's Ministry

Nursery

The nursery is available for infants and toddlers up to age 2 every Sunday beginning at 10:15 am. Our nursery provides a place that is safe and staffed with caring people on Sunday mornings and during other church events. The nursery is located on the left side of the entry hallway. Yancey Chapman is our nursery director.

A cry room is also available during the service for parents with children. This room is equipped with a TV which broadcasts the worship service in its entirety.

Sunday Schedule

During July and August there will be no first hour Sunday School classes.
Sunday School classes for children ages 2 yrs through kindergarten begin after the offertory.

Preschoolers and kindergarteners will be looking at the 10 Commandments using lessons that have been adapted from the book, "Big Truths for Little Kids" by Susan and Richie Hunt. We have chosen to focus their lessons on chapters 19-28 of this book as this coincides with what our church family will be learning as Pastor Steve preaches. Our 2 and 3 year olds will continue to be "wowed" by God's awesomeness looking at "The Wonders He Has Done." As always, Sunday school is optional. Your children and even the little ones are welcome to remain in the service with you during the worship service.
